More importantly, under the carpet, that questions sprouts its own little sub-questions ad infinitum ("Why does God behave this way?" and other kinds of unanswerable dilemmas). I would rather be satisfied with one unknowable rather than an infinite number of them. Sadly, that's just me.Wavefunctionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14993805391653267639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5137957.post-32464937818421139132008-03-26T13:32:00.000-04:002008-03-26T13:32:00.000-04:00Unholy shit, at that!Unholy shit, at that!தருமிhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02446077904734676229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5137957.post-4210253262784209512008-03-26T12:54:00.000-04:002008-03-26T12:54:00.000-04:00True! But, cultivating scientific temper and trying to explain the essential random nature of the world is hard.

Why do bad things happen to good people? It is much easy to digest if you say, "It was God's will". Why a benevolent God would want to harm a good person? "To have more faith in him", or that " true treasures are in heaven."

Now contrast that with what really is the case, "Shit happens!"hirakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13092831514643850562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5137957.post-33038618006396161022008-03-26T12:45:00.000-04:002008-03-26T12:45:00.000-04:00//Dr. Wilson - Secularism is very maladaptive biol...//Dr. Wilson - Secularism is very maladaptive biologically.//

may be, so far.

but it appears with increasing non-accomodativeness of religions things may become just the opposite. let atheism be the elixir for all relgious maladies.

amen!தருமிhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02446077904734676229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5137957.post-20021847498026893932008-03-25T05:05:00.000-04:002008-03-25T05:05:00.000-04:00hey nice blog and nice post i really appreciate it...hey nice blog and nice post i really appreciate it
with regards
edgar dantas
www.gadgetworld.co.inAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09976782472523278151noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5137957.post-86523587792698492622008-03-24T23:01:00.000-04:002008-03-24T23:01:00.000-04:00Pingback from Blogbharti [...]:Hirak discusses an...Pingback from Blogbharti [...]:
Hirak discusses and more than agrees with an article from the Economic Times, that goes on to show the advantages [...]Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5137957.post-9266332434787658892008-03-23T10:52:00.000-04:002008-03-23T10:52:00.000-04:00The comments section on the article is even more f...The comments section on the article is even more fun.
