America is a like...a zookeeper. The whole series of articles is worth reading. Paul Theroux the most famous name on the list writes about his time as a sexual prisioner during his time in Africa. Its uncanny how he realises how he is the mini-America in his arrogant behavior, doing something in the heat of the moment which he regrets later. Echoes of attack on Iraq?
