Significant "Aanda" Funda

For a quick-fix breakfast, nothing like a boiled egg. While you take a shower, the eggs peacefully boil. But trying to peel boiled eggs to reveal the pristine, smooth surface of the perfectly boiled egg is perhaps one of the most irritating things on the planet. I have had quite a number of breakfasts with possibly nutritious tiny egg-shell fragments that were too small to remove; or have had half the egg disappear in an over zealous peel-off operation.
What would I have not given to have this 3-second method to peel eggs earlier? (Well, it takes about 15 seconds but it really does the trick.) Such stuff should be awarded the Nobel Prize.

Finally something useful on this blog.

Right! So useful that I can post useless stuff for quite some time now.

I've read "My Uncle Oswald" by Roald Dahl. Is there another one called "My Cousin Oswald" or is that just a typo in your reading list?

Corrected. Thanks!

Try placing the peeled eggs under running water to remove the miniscule shell bits.

That works too!
I have used the new trick about a dozen times and I have really good at it to the extent that there are no more nasty bits of egg-shell. Yeah!
